November 21, 2017 RECOM BRINGS FESTIVE CHEER TO EMMELINE’S PANTRY
Recom is supporting a campaign to provide help this Christmas to women and families in need across Manchester.
Emmeline’s Pantry has launched an appeal to bring festive cheer to those who are struggling to feed and clothe themselves and their children.
The charity, based in Manchester, is run by volunteers who operate a food bank and also distribute clothes, toiletries, baby items and gifts to the less fortunate.
Inspired by the support given to Emmeline’s Pantry by our client the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we recognise it is a wonderful cause which deserves our backing too.
Recom co-director Joseph Dillon said: “Instead of sending out Christmas cards this year, we are focusing our efforts on helping this worthy charity.
“Christmas is a time for giving and remembering those in need. To this end, we are appealing to everyone to donate to Emmeline’s Pantry, which relies on the public’s goodwill to help families all year round but especially over the festive holiday period.
“They will accept unused gifts for children as well as items such as chocolates, sweets and treats, tea and coffee, fresh and non-perishable food, clothing and even shopping vouchers.
“We’ll be making our own donation and hope others will follow suit.”
If you would like to donate, please contact Recom’s Michelle Woods via michelle@recomsolutions.co.uk or 0161 478 1200 before Tuesday, December 5.
We will arrange to collect your items.
