Recom Solutions were commissioned to undertake the Project Management role in July 2017 for the 386no unit consented Arundel Street Scheme on Chester Road, Manchester. Recom, as appointed project lead, procured the design team and led the project through planning.

What we did differently

Early supplier procurement was key to this project. By understanding architect and design team requirements, we were able to lead a forward-thinking strategy to hedge materials and suppliers ahead of the project commencing.
The team undertook significant due diligence on key elements aspects of the build, including piling, façade and groundworks, to ensure that when the scheme commences there is enough capacity within the North West market and the cost plan is not impacted by inflation.
